Overview
The University of Essex is a public research university based in Colchester, England. It was established in 1963. The university has its main campus at Colchester and also have its campuses located at Southend-On-Sea and Loughton.

This is ranked 2nd for ‘international outlook’, which implies that university has the ability to attract students and research talent from around the world and our commitment to working with leading institutions across the globe.

Campus Tour
There are six iconic towers at Essex, other than this, students can also get cheaper accommodation options such as in the meadows flats and Wolfson Court. While, South Court is the largest accommodation area located right next to the gym and sports center, on the northern side of Essex campus, and they have cozy residential estates. Recently, Essex has established a new copse latest university campus with innovative and stylish rooms.

Southend campus is located in the heart of the vibrant and modern seaside town that boasts the world’s largest pleasure pier and seven miles of stunning coastline providing various opportunities for wide range of water sports and leisure activities. It is known for its beach resort and pier, Southend-On-Sea stretches along seven miles of providing plenty of opportunities for a wide range of water sports and leisure activities. It mainly has School of Health and Social Care, East 15 Acting School, Department of Psychosocial and Psychoanalytic Studies, or Essex Business School. The student accommodation is placed in the iconic building in the town center.

Loughton Campus is also known as East 15 Acting School. The campus is bordered by London’s largest open space, Epping Forest, which is just a stone’s throw away from Loughton in the 6,000 acres of beautiful, ancient woodland vicinity. Students can reach central London in just half an hour by taking the central line from Debden underground station which is just a five-minute walk from campus.

The Southend campus has a huge forum comprised of library, teaching spaces and 24-hour Learning Hub, Unique rehearsal and performance space at Clifftown cinema and studio. Students will have access to computer rooms, and the libraries at Hatfields, Southend and Colchester Campuses. The Loughton campus is equipped with courtyard studios comprised of six large rehearsal spaces, radio studio, rehearsal spaces, dance studio and 14 more studios, screening rooms furnished with a large screen and stereo sounds so that students can enjoy and avail the best quality study experience.
