The university offers many large and small programs that cover two or more academic disciplines while providing submarine research. Illinois State University is an American university that reaches the world, attracting students and technology from all over the world. Students can choose from 165+ undergraduate majors, 90+ degree sequences, and 10 doctoral programs, Pathway programs, and English preparation courses.

Many of the Honors program offered at the University of Illinois state focuses on enriching and accessing a variety of study and bursary experiences, as well as research and travel opportunities to enhance their skill sets. The university seeks to prepare students to become competent and competitive actors in a connected world around the world. Complete integration of compasses made by campuses extends beyond the study of travel and employment of foreign students. It includes the expansion of worldwide-focused courses, campus-wide programs, student organizations, student services, community engagement opportunities, and other activities on the home and related campuses.

The Office of International Programs and Programs offers a number of learning, management and language programs to meet the needs of groups seeking additional training or experience. These programs can be customized to suit a specific learning process and learning objectives, or to fit larger educational programs. International students are generally not allowed to receive the same types of financial assistance as American students. However, there are other students and other help available for international students.
